Leaders
From Ashford District Scouts
Leaders in Scouting come from all walks of life.
Some were Scouts, Cubs or Venture Scouts in their youth - others come from outside the movement.
Many adults are potential leaders with skills that may not be available in all Scout Groups.
Commitment to the success of young people is the initial requirement.
For the safety of the young people involved in Scouting, all potential leaders are required to agree to a Criminal Records Bureau check and undergo approved training within the Scout Association.
Dates of 2010 District meetings are listed below. Venues are either in the table or below it.
Beaver Leaders 27th January 8.15pm : 14th April : 7th July : 6th October all at Willesborough
Cub Leaders 1st March: 10th May: 13th September: 13th December all at TESCO Crooksfoot.
Scout Leaders 14th January at Ruckinge: 15th April at Barn Platt: 28th October at Shadoxhurst.
District Executive 15th February: 12th April both at Willesborough: 9th June at Barn Platt: 17th November at Barn Platt.
District AGM 15th September at Barn Platt.
